Men prefer Barbie dolls

London - New research has shown that men prefer women with Barbie-doll figures. Women with a voluptuous chest and a thin waist tend to be more fertile than those who do not have the classic hour-glass figure, British papers reported on Wednesday. This research was undertaken by the Jagiellonion University in Poland, Harvard University in the United States, Romso University in Norway and the Ulleval University Hospital in Norway. The appeal of Barbie's figure can now be explained by science, the research asserts. The levels of two hormones vital to fertility are generally higher in women with big breasts. London daily paper The Times reported that these women could be two to three times more likely to fall pregnant each menstrual cycle. "The cultural icon of Barbie as a symbol of feminine beauty seems to have a biological foundation," said Dr Grazyna Jasienska of Jagiellonion University, who headed the research. If physique is a true indication of fertility, then men who recognise and pursue Barbie clones should have more descendants if they are compared to men who prefer different kinds of female figures. The Barbie-doll preferences will be inherited by their sons. It will leave a "lasting impression on the male sexual psyche." The study indicated a clear link between women's fertility hormones and their physique.
